This is a proposed set of the beaches assessed by MPCA's surface water quality assessment process for the 2016 303(d)/305(b) integrated report to EPA. The beaches included in the dataset were submitted to EPA in January, 2017. EPA approved the data without requesting any changes in January, 2019.
These beaches are a subset of the 1:24,000 scale National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). This dataset includes impaired beaches which have not yet had a TMDL plan approved by the US EPA as well as beaches that support aquatic recreation and those that had insufficient information to render a support judgment. |
