Description: This is a set of the beaches assessed by MPCA's surface water quality assessment process in 2012 and 2013 for the 2014 303(d)/305(b) integrated report to EPA. These beaches are a subset and enhancement of the 1:24,000 scale National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). In cases where the NHD does not include a beach that MPCA has assessed, a custom shape is added. Since the assessed beaches are a small subset of the NHD, only that subset is included in the dataset. This dataset includes assessed beaches which are supporting, non-supporting, and those which have insufficient information to determine support for the Aquatic Recreation designated use.
